A QUICK WORD ABOUR HOW THIS VARIABLE PRICING THING WORKS: You can choose how much you want to pay for this music.
    • I like this because the important thing about music is the enjoyment of it, not the money.
    • I like this because it takes the wind out of the Music-Is-An-Industry sails.
    • I like this because it means you can have my music even if you haven't got any spare spending capacity just now.
    • I like this because I don't know how to price my music either.

I know the whole "ascribing worth to something" thing makes some people uncomfortable, so if you need a suggestion to get you started, how about £5 for an album, or 50p per track. Or alternatively, you could download it for free and give it a few listens, then if you decide you really like it, you can come back and donate something later. Or buy a copy for a friend. Or help me by sharing it with your friends or writing a review. Or just enjoy it for free.

If you're dithering, DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE NOW, and worry about all this another day!

(The £1 minimum on CD orders goes towards the cost of a jiffy bag and stamp.) Thank you for supporting independent music.

about

You Come Running is basically a reprise of The Turning Song - the few times Tim and I played it live it was performed as one 8-minute piece, and was in fact recorded as one long song. This arrangement of Amazing Grace is what Tim soloed around after Farther Up and Farther In on Puzzle. I love weird chords. You should have worked that out by now. Thanks to Lorna for singing this one so beautifully (I was getting tired of my own voice!), and to Peter Moles for lending Tim his soprano sax for the recording.

lyrics

When I turn back to you, you come running to meet me
You've been watching and counting the moments
Till you saw me come back into view
And when I ask you to tell me how much you love me
Smiling you stretch out your arms to embrace me
And without a word welcome me home
